How do you feel about the whole Yahoo! buying out tumblr deal?

I legitimately don’t give a shit. Tumblr’s staff is staying in charge so not much should change other than financial backing etc.

I am indifferent and accept any of these 4 possibilities:

1. Tumblr thrives with it’s new owner, servers get faster, less errors and downages, more fixes, new feature development etc. In which case YAY for improvement!
2. Nothing changes. Everything stays the same. In which case YAY for familiarity!
3. Tumblr loses some of its street-cred, and a lot of the pretentious too-cool-for-corporate indiehipster snobs leave the site. In which case YAY for less douchebags.
4. Yahoo fucks shit up, and the whole site goes downhill, and it sucks. In which case YAY I needed a push to get out of here and move on anyway.

But like I said, the staff is saying the same and operations shouldn’t change so most likely possibility #2 will be true.
